The Pitcher – Crème de la crème of the queer community

About

Posted in Uncategorized by Jesse on the September 11, 2008

The Pitcher is a community blogging project. We write/rant about anything with a queer orientation, whether it is personal, political, personal striving to be political, well-formed, scattered, words, sounds, or images.

At its most basic, we’re just a group of friends who blog about whatever we want. Since most of us are queer-identified, we tend to blog about queer-related issues.

Just like a paper, pieces by regular writers are published at any time. Op-ed pieces from guest writers are published every Friday.

Origins of the name: “Pitcher” connotes collectivity, and, at the same time, the fastballing of ideas. It is collective and edgy, and that’s why it was chosen.
